Here's what's been happening.....

We were embarking on a almost 6 month wait for our referral, our hearts were getting heavy with anxiety for a match. Just when we thought, WHEN is this going to happen......it did! The truth is: God knows it all. We just needed to have faith and trust in HIS timing.
March 18, 2016: We reviewed a file of a little boy. He was 19 months old.
March 24, 2016: After a week of praying and discussing, we put in our LOI (letter of intent) to adopt him as our precious son.
April 1, 2016: Our LOI was reviewed and sent to China for a final approval.
April 5, 2016: Our LOA (letter of acceptance) was sent to our global headquarters in Michigan
April 7, 2016: Our OFFICIAL document from China arrived, which was our official MATCH to our son.
April 11, 2016: We sent off our 1-800 which is the paperwork asking our government for permission to bring our son HOME to the United States. This part can take quite some time (up to 75 days!). We can't do much until we get that approval. Then we send in for our visa's. Then we prepare for travel approval.
It is our great hope to make the June travel group, but at this point, we are being told that July is more likely outcome. So hard to think about knowing that we KNOW who our son is now, and we just want to go get him NOW.
It's been a very busy time of more paperwork. I didn't think I was capable of being so organized, but this journey has sure brought out the "organizer" in me. Hundreds of papers, dozens of documents and beyond. By the time we travel to bring home our son, it will have been a YEAR AND A HALF from start to finish.

Just wondering if you use Bethany and if he is from Shanghai? We have a little girl there that we got a referral for at about the same time��
